James Richard Collier (born May 18, 1939 in Van Buren, Arkansas) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League for the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of Arkansas and was drafted in the seventh round of the 1961 NFL Draft. Collier was also selected in the 31st round of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Collier scored the only touchdown for the New York Giants in the 1962 championship game when he blocked a Packers' punt and recovered the ball on the goal line.
